We feel that the best guidelines for writing for our magazine is our magazine itself. If you are interested in submitting a query or writing for our magazine, please pick up several issues from the past few months and read through them. By doing this, you can gain a better sense of the type of writing we are looking for here at Civil War Times.
If you are interested in writing for Civil War Times please send us a query – just a page or so – outlining the subject and your approach to it, and why you believe this would be an important article for the magazine. It would also be helpful if you would summarize briefly your prior writing experience in a cover note.
